Joe Biden on the cameo! And Barackdubs aka Fadi Saleh is no stranger to Obama mashups. We partnered with him to have Obama sing Carly Rae Jepsen’s song of 2012, “Call Me Maybe” and since then, it has received 34.9 million views. NBD. Fadi also put Obama to the test as he duetted with Mott Romney on Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.” and once Obama won the election, he sang MC Hammer’s legendary 90’s tune, “U Can’t Touch This.”
Obama’s inauguration coincidentally fell on MLK day, and in the spirit of the late activist, much of the President’s speech was about equality. Obama wants to give “sexy back” to all Americans regardless of age, race, economic class, sex, and sexual orientation. “We reject the belief that America must choose between caring for the generation that built this country and investing in the generation that will build its future,” he said. “We do not believe that in this country, freedom is reserved for the lucky, or happiness for the few.”
After watching his inaugural address, are you convinced that Obama will bring “sexy back” to our nation in his second term? Let us know (or just spit your fave JT lyrics) in the comments section below!
