How is Miley Cyrus handing her parents' divorce? From the looks of her Twitter page, pretty well. The pop star took to Twitter shortly after the news broke to show both of them some love. Well played, M!

Although Miley, her mum Tish, and father Billy Ray seem to be doing alright, divorce is a life-changing process that can put a lot of strain on all members of a family. But with more than half of all marriages ending in divorce, Miley knows that "We Can't Stop" living our awesome lives because of it! Here are a few tips for coming to terms with your parents' decision:

+ Keep Ya Head Up!

Depending on the circumstances of your parents' divorce, you may have to deal with many major life changes. This could include moving, changing schools, and living between two homes. Your parents may not to be able to afford all of the things you were used to before the divorce, you may spend more time with one parent than the other, and you might eventually see one or both of them go out with other people. Adjusting can be hard at first, but keep your head up, and trust that your parents split up to ultimately make everybody's lives better, not worse.

+ Remember That It's Not Your Fault

It's common for teens to feel like their parents' divorce is somehow their fault, but it's not. Parents split up because of issues between them, not because of something their children did or didn't do. You may feel like you could have studied more, argued less, or done something to prevent the breakup, but divorce is the result of your parents' issues with each other, not with you.

+ Talk About It

You may experience a range of emotions -- from guilt, to sadness, to anger, to relief -- and it's okay to talk about all of them. Half of American marriages end in divorce, so chances are somebody close to you knows what you're going through. If conversations with your friends and loved ones aren't enough, ask your parents, school counselor, or doctor to help you find professional help.

+ Live Your Life

Your parents' relationship may be over, but that doesn't mean you have to stop doing all of the things that make you happiest. Try not to let the strain of a divorce and all of the changes that come along with it stop you from keeping up with friends, family, and schoolwork...or, if you're Miley Cyrus, world domination. One Direction had a liiiittle trouble falling asleep last night, with the release of the Backstreet Boys' lead single "In A World Like This," off their upcoming album and tour of the same title. The upbeat, Max Martin produced song is the OG boy band's ode to love, friendship, and helping each other out -- something they are very familiar with given their penchant for charity work.
