This is not a post about eating right and making healthy choices (though, of course, we want you to). This is about eating, period, and having choices in the first place. This is about the 1 in 6 Americans who struggle to get enough food to eat — and what you can do to help change that. (Hint: It's as easy as pressing "play.")
As part of Hunger Action Month, Matt Damon (aka: "Steve" ... watch and learn) filmed a 30-second PSA to remind us that hunger is a real story. Every time someone views it, AOL Impact and Feeding America will donate a meal to someone in need, distributing up to 100,000 meals with your support. Soooo ... go watch it now. Then share it. Then watch it again. Then share it some more. The campaign runs until September 30, so even though the clock is ticking, we can all stil do this one simple thing.
FACT: Among the nearly 49 million Americans facing hunger are more than 16 million children.
