Are you seeing red today? We hope so. Red ribbons (or Twibbons), (RED) products — and even buildings basking in the glow of red. Architecture celebrating World AIDS Day? Bring it on.
To say we're celebrating World AIDS day does have a funny ring to it (akin to the awkward phrasing used when people say they are walking for cancer or raising money for diabetes). The truth is, the fight against HIV/AIDS is completely worthy of celebration. That's what World AIDS Day is all about. It's about keeping the reality in peoples' minds, keeping researchers and foundations on their toes, reassuring people around the world that we won't give up on each other.
So in the spirit of hope, of persistence and moving forward, take a peek at the red gracing structures around the world — and go (RED) too while you're at it.
