Last week, UNICEF set up one of their lifesaving emergency tents in the court yard at NYC’s Lincoln Center for Fashion Week. When it comes to UNICEF though, children are always in fashion.
The “Children Are Always In Fashion” exhibition at Fashion Week featured their tools used to save and protect children around the world. In the lobby they had their fashionable fall totes for sale — the FEED Trick-or-Treat Bag designed by FEED founder Lauren Bush. This week, they’re at it again making sure that issues affecting children worldwide are on international leaders’ radars as they meet at United Nations HQ for the big General Assembly meeting.
Over the years, UNICEF has worked with Selena Gomez as well as some of your other faves like Sarah Jessica Parker, Lucy Liu (pictured below), Alyssa Milano, Téa Leoni, and Audrey Hepburn. And get this: together, they have helped UNICEF save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization in the world!
Take action below to help support UNICEF’s initiatives to provide children with health care, clean water, nutrition, education, emergency relief, and more.
