It’s #ThrowbackThursday, and chances are your Instagram feed is full of awkward, adorable, or awkwardly adorable pics of your friends and followers from back in the day. If your fave thing about Thursdays is celebrity throwbacks, we’ve got ‘em for ya! Today: Beyoncé.

Beyoncé’s been on the scene since before Justin Bieber was out of diapers. In the almost two decades we’ve known her, she’s gone from Destiny’s Child to “Grown Woman,” and one half of pop music’s first billionaire couple. Her hairdo is ever-changing, but the one thing that’s always remained consistent is her voluminous heart. From joining Michelle Obama’s health-conscious Let’s Move campaign, to her humanitarian-themed “I Was Here” vid (which was just nominated for Best Video With a Social Message at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards), Bey has always used her fame to make a positive impact on the world.

Bey’s most recent charitable endeavor, Miss a Meal, encourages people to give the money they spend on food they don’t need to the more than 50 million Americans who go hungry every day. You can donate appetizers, salads, soups, and entrees, all for just $1 each. In other words, if you give your extra bucks to Miss a Meal, that expensive sushi dinner may just be the “Best Thing You Never Had.” Follow the action links below to be more like Bey … but never quite as rich.
