When I think back to my Lady Gaga concert experience, I remember a few things vividly: thousands of Little Monsters holding their paws up for the singer and the amazing costumes that Mother Monster rocked. That was then, however. Now Gaga fans have another experience to look forward to: free counseling services offered on the singer’s BornBrave bus.
Since I’ve never heard of services like this being described as, per the singer, “a fun tailgating experience for monsters to unite,” I’m all but camping out outside potential arenas.
Lady Gaga isn’t the only artist going on tour this year, obvs. And since it's January and cold out, we daydreamed about four other artists and causes we’d like to see take after Gaga and her bus:
+ Taylor Swift
Taylor isn’t just boasting major record sales -- she’s got one of the biggest hearts in the industry. For her upcoming “Red” tour, we envision the songstress partnering with Save the Music. Afterall, she did donate 4 million dollars to fund a new education center at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville! BTW, it was the largest donation by an individual to the 45-year-old museum. So we're thinking on tour, Tay could invite a local school at every stop to sing at her tour bus to raise money for Save The Music. Maybe the kids will be as good as the beloved PS22 Chorus?!
Rihanna is unapologetic about her support for organizations that benefit cancer research, because for her, it’s personal: the singer’s grandmother (or as she calls her, Gran Gran Dolly) died from cancer last year. The singer would be a match for DKMS, which is fighting to cure blood cancer. During RiRi's upcoming Diamonds World Tour, fans could come to the tour bus, get their cheek swabbed and learn more about being a bone marrow donor. When you do some good, you're definitely shining bright like a diamond!!! Insert Emoji diamond here.
+ Justin Bieber
Justin is a proud supporter of Pencils of Promise, so it’s a no-brainer he’d be the perfect fit to support the cause. We see his tour bus as the perfect place for him to collect school supplies from his Beliebers, with all the supplies donated to Pencils of Promise-affiliated schools after the tour. Do you think Justin would be up for a 100 city tour to benefit PoP’s 100 finished and soon-to-be-built schools? We think he’d go for it.
+ Demi Lovato
When it comes to messages, Lovatics all over the world know that love really is louder. We see Demi’s bus as an ideal place for fans to gather and take their own Love is Louder-inspired pictures. It’s the best backdrop to having honest conversations about anti-bullying and peer pressure. And FYI, Demi's not going on tour soon but she'll be performing in Houston in March and we hope she gets on the road again before those "X Factor" auditions happen!
Which one of our dream tour bus scenarios would you be most excited to experience? Will you go for a ride on Gaga’s BornBrave bus during her upcoming tour? Let us know your thoughts!
