Didja know that with a few clicks of your mouse (and without opening your wallet) you can donate a pencil and notebook to a child who might not be able to afford them otherwise? Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas know what’s going on, and they’ve made a vid to spread awareness.

In the vid, Joe talks a little bit about what makes We Day cool. “There’s so much in the world to celebrate. The movies have their night to honor the best of film. The finest athletes compete for the podium. Musicians have their time to shine. But how do we honor the kids who are making a difference?”
“With We Day,” Demi answers. “Filling stadiums around the world to celebrate the good that young people do.”
We Day is around because of Demi’s beloved Free the Children and other orgs, and it celebrates and encourages young people in philanthropy. And like Joe and Demi are saying, it puts on some kickass events. Right now, if you follow We Day on Twitter (or like them on Facebook), a pencil and notebook will be given to a kid at a Free the Children school.
So do you seriously just have to make a few clicks to help a child get an education? Yup! Once you’re following We Day, you can learn more about it and you might find more ways you’d like to get involved.
As Demi says, “Join the movement.”
