Teenage birth rates have been falling lately -- down 8 percent between 2010 and 2011 -- and while there’s no one single reason for this, research suggests that access to and use of birth control is a major factor. Teen pregnancy is now at a record low in the U.S.

Rumors have been swirling that Jenelle Evans from “Teen Mom 2” and her new husband, Courtland Rogers, 27, are expecting a baby. This might concern people who are already worried about Jenelle -- she doesn’t have custody of her son, she’s dealt with a number of legal problems, and her relationship with her mother is strained. In the first interview with Jenelle about the topic, we can confirm that her pregnancy is true, “I missed a few birth control pills, and found out I was pregnant at a doctor’s appointment. I was really surprised.”

Bedsider wants us to acknowledge something: Movie-quality sex is pretty much movie material for a reason. It's fabulous. It's fiction. Slapstick comedy notwithstanding, big screen hanky-panky has the carefully choreographed grace, strategic lighting and sexy soundtrack that aren't generally pre-fixed for real life intimate encounters. In real life, it may take a little practice to reach that cinematic synchronicity. As the brand new Unplanned Pregnancy Prevention campaign Bedsider.org notes, "You didn't give up on sex. Don't give up on birth control."
