When I think back to my Lady Gaga concert experience, I remember a few things vividly: thousands of Little Monsters holding their paws up for the singer and the amazing costumes that Mother Monster rocked. That was then, however. Now Gaga fans have another experience to look forward to: free counseling services offered on the singer’s BornBrave bus.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez broke up. I’m lying -- don’t shed a tear or jump for joy yet -- but they are going head-to-head in J-14’s Teen Icon Awards. They’re both nominated in the Iconic Heart category -- Justin for his work with charity: water and Pencils Of Promise, and Selena for her work with UNICEF and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. It’s getting to be back-to-school time (whahh, already!?). A lot of us take school for granted (and maybe don’t like waking up early in the morning, hmm) but many kids out there would like to be educated and don’t have access to education. That’s why Ludacris is stepping up for Pencils of Promise.

Keep it classy! We here at Act are pretty stoked to say that we’re partners with the CLASSY Awards, which you could think of as the Academy Awards for philanthropists. The awards are being held this September and the time is right for you to get out there and nominate a charitable org, a kindhearted person you know, or a whole volunteer group. Actually, you can even nominate yourself if you meet the criteria as a volunteer or member of a charity group.

Lady Gaga should be Queen Gaga when it comes to Twitter -- she has more followers than anyone else -- over 22 million followers to be exact. Justin Bieber trails closely behind her at over 19 million followers, and some Bieber fans want their star to be numero uno in the tweeting universe, which has led to a Twitter war of sorts.
