Adrian Grenier is a busy dude, y’all. When he’s not spreading the smart media gospel with screenings of his Sundance doc Teenage Paparazzo for overexposed high school and college students, he’s stomping sustainable grapes, launching a canned craft beer, creating his own app, running an online eco-platform, drumming for The Honey Brothers, and switching local co-ops. (Yes, let’s pause to soak up the OMG-I’m-so-lazy feeling as we click on each of those links.) Oh yeah, he’s also got this side career where he acts and stuff.

Recently, at the Hennessy black carpet for its Wild Rabbit campaign, I played the ultimate game of "Rapper vs. Republican" with stars Keri Hilson, Gabrielle Union and BET personality Rocsi Diaz!

Mitt Romney and Etch-a-Sketch-gate. Barack Obama singing “Sexy and I Know It.” Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich runnin’ their mouths like rappers. The three-ring media circus that passes for American politics these days makes it hella hard to separate the fluff from the stuff we really need to know -- like, I dunno, what the heck all the gibberish comin’ from the podium actually means when it hits OUR wallets.

Last night Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich lost the Florida primary by a wide margin, and like his opponent and the night's winner, Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, he spent much of his primary-night speech going after not his fellow Republican candidates but President Barack Obama. Gingrich created a stir when he took a not-so-veiled swipe at President Obama's recent belting out of a few bars of one of Reverend Al Green's greatest hits.

Mitt Romney just won the 2012 Republican Florida Primary by a wide margin, but he doesn't have anything locked up yet. So much for instant gratification. "Florida, Florida, Florida" is the mantra made famous by the late NBC newsman Tim Russert about how important the Sunshine State was to the 2000 presidential election. 12 years later, the state will be crucial again when Barack Obama faces off with his Republican opponent this November. But first the Republicans have to continue duking it out amongst themselves to figure out who will get the chance to face the president. What went down in Florida? What does it all mean? Why should you care? And when is this going to be over? We'll tell you.
