Now that it’s Friday, you’re probably all shouting "TGIF." Maybe we can throw in a "TGIHCW" (thank goodness I have clean water) into the mix, too? It's World Water Day!

President Obama's big day is right around the corner! The 57th Presidential Inauguration will take place on Monday, January 21 and this historical ceremony is about to turn next level with the announcement of Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce (her GQ cover is beyond) performing at the event! With these two powerful divas there is no doubt this will be an evening to remember.

‘Tis the season for holiday giving, and T.I. got in the game by giving out gifts at a children’s hospital in Detroit. Joining him were Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and the radio station HOT 107.5, and they have a lil video to show you!

And since it’s election year, there’s plenty of talk about jobs going on because we all want to be gainfully employed and stuff. Young people might find it especially hard 'cause you know, "1 of 2 recent graduates are unemployed or underemployed." Luckily Nas is supporting an idea that might make a difference.

Thanks to Rock The Vote, there’s a bevy of musical badasses who are putting their pop power behind this year’s youth voter push. It's a democratic get-down you really don’t wanna miss! Founded to combat musical censorship back in the early 90s (their OG Madonna ads are PRICELESS for her accent alone), Rock The Vote has now grown into the biggest non-partisan voter registration org in America. It’s all about young people having a say in who runs this country (Beyonce has already cast her vote) and 2012 is gonna be no different.

What does a former Beatle and the rapper Nas have in common? They're both a big part of the relief effort in the Horn of Africa.

A recent article headline stated that 29,000 children under the age of 5 had fallen victim to the famine in Somalia in the last 90 days, and more than 3.2 million people in all are in desperate need of help. Fortunately now, as in the past, a number of musicians and artists--Selena Gomez, Enrique Iglesias, My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello, Lady Antebellum, and more--are lending their voices to the cause, rallying the world to take a stand.
