MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) teamed up with Jason Mraz to put on a concert to help end human trafficking. Today on MTV.com and mtvU you can watch "MTV World Stage: Live in Myanmar" and follow Mraz on his journey as he meets with survivors of human trafficking and exploitation.

There are more slaves today than in any other time in human history. Still think slavery is a thing of the past? It is estimated that there are between 12 and 27 million people enslaved around the world, including the United States. The End It Movement wants to “Shine a Light on Slavery,” so we have to ask -- are you in it to “End It”?

If he were still around, Abraham Lincoln would be turning 204 (!!!) today. It’d be understandable if you thought slavery's been history for nearly as long – after all, we've all heard plenty about the Emancipation Proclamation and when Lincoln freed the slaves. Today, though, there are an estimated 27 million slaves worldwide -- more than during Lincoln's time -- with incidences of sex and labor trafficking reported in all fifty states.

If you’ve been paying attention to the Oscar buzz around movies like "Lincoln" and "Django Unchained," you’d be forgiven for thinking that slavery was something that happened way back when. And if you hear anyone talking about modern-day slavery, they’re probably talking about it as something that happens abroad. But what if you discovered that someone you knew was a victim of modern-day slavery? What would you do?

In school you get taught that Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves, but on Human Trafficking Awareness Day, we’re sad to say that slavery still exists. There might be as many as 27 million slaves in the world today -- even in our own backyard.

Shay Mitchell helps empower LGBT youth with her character Emily on “Pretty Little Liars,” and she’s also dedicated to stopping human trafficking with the Somaly Mam Foundation. Somaly Mam, the founder of SMF, was sold into slavery as a young girl in Cambodia, and Shay helps her mission to stop slavery in Cambodia and elsewhere.

Alicia Keys, P!nk and Jada Pinkett Smith have joined forces with the mtvU Against Our Will Campaign to fight human trafficking. The dynamic trio (Can you imagine if they all sang together?!) lent their voices to read poems written by survivors of sex trafficking. Alicia knows that spreading the word about slavery and letting victims express themselves are two important things, and she’s out to tell more people about mtvU's campaign.
