This year's March Madness is turning out to be the year of the underdogs. In tandem with Butler as yet another unexpected challenger, number 11 seed Virginia Commonwealth University surprised more than a few NCAA fans by making its way to the Final Four, knocking big-time teams like Georgetown, Purdue and USC out of the running.

You'd figure that as a No. 8 seed going into the Final Four, the Bulldogs of Butler University would easily be considered underdogs instead. But after 11th ranked Virginia Commonwealth University shocked top-ranked Kansas, and the entire nation watching, Butler isn't facing so much of a challenge anymore. Then again, that's what Kansas thought.
