Millions of people have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, and this is an issue that can’t be ignored. Steve Aoki and Vanessa Hudgens are two celebs who are stepping it up for Haiyan relief.
I will be matching up to $36,000 in donation to Music for Relief for Typhoon Haiyan Relief. You can help here: http://t.co/24VGvtiY0e.

Steve just recently turned 36, and as a birthday gift he’s asking people to donate to Music for Relief, an org that was founded in 2004 by Linkin Park and does things like help after natural disasters. Steve is willing to match your donation up to $36,000. (I think you can guess where he got that number.) You might have noticed Avril Lavigne doing something similar recently where she was matching donations to help the Philippines.
Steve has also promised a great gift: the person who raises the most money for relief efforts by December 20 will get a free trip to see Steve this New Year’s Eve in Cancun.

Speaking about life for many young Filipino children, Vanessa said in the PSA, “The world as they know it has been destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan and nearly five million children in the Philippines need our help to survive. UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any humanitarian organization in the world.”
She calls on people to text “RELIEF” to 864233 to donate $10 to the cause and visit the website for UNICEF USA. There are many different ways you can help the Philippines, and this Giving Tuesday is a great day to start!
