Zooey Deschanel has beautiful eyes and hair that smells like cinnamon, and she also knows a way for you to help kids in L.A. while simultaneously entering for a chance to hang out with the cast of “Anchorman 2.” The “New Girl” actress Tweeted:

“Anchorman 2″ comes out in December, and if we remember anything about the main character, Ron Burguny, it’s that he could have used a little tutoring here and there. Together, the nonprofit 826LA and the “Anchorman” franchise have got something awesome going on.
826LA is a Los Angeles nonprofit that helps kids 6 through 18 on their creative and expository writing. (Bonus points if you remember MTV Act’s interview with Jon Scieszka and Lemony Snicket about 826NYC! 826NYC does the same work but helps students in New York City.)
When you donate through Omaze to 826LA, you’ll put yourself in the running for you and a friend to hang out with Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Jack Black and Bill Kurtis. Don’t live in the LA area? Don’t fret! If you win, you’ll get free airplane tix plus a room in a 4-star hotel.
Wait — it gets better. If you’re selected, you’ll get to participate in a live reading of “Anchorman 2″ with the cast! You’d just be reading a few lines, so don’t freak that this will be tons of memorization or anything. It’s supposed to be fun, and it’s all about giving to a good cause. And, like Zooey says, time is running out! Just think of this contest as being about the three R’s: Reading, Writing, and Ron Burgundy!
