Aeropostale is giving us yet another reason to buy more jeans, and this time it’s for a good cause. So, start emptying that closet and get ready to go shopping.Canadian beauty and 90210 star Shenae Grimes took to Twitter to get out the word about the Aeropostale + DoSomething.org’s Teens for Jeans campaign. She tweeted:
Aeropostale and DoSomething.org are rolling out for the seventh year the Teen for Jeans Campaign, which aims to collect millions of pairs of jeans to donate to homeless youth.
Over the past six years, 3.5 million pairs of jeans have been donated. The group even set a record by collecting 1,000,000 jeans in just four weeks! In addition, stars like Demi Lovato, Kristen Bell, Justin Long, the cast of “Pretty Little Liars” have all shown their support and donated. This year Teens for Jeans has gotten help from Fifth Harmony, Shenae Grimes and Chloe Grace Moretz.
Getting involved is simple. Start a jeans drive at your school or community center or you can take your jeans to your nearest Aeropostale store and they will do the rest. You have until February 16th to drop off your jeans.
Well, young Hollywood has done their part, so you should, too. Go ahead, empty that closet and give those old jeans to someone in need in your community.
