One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush is quite visible on Twitter, with over 400,000 followers as of this post (including us!). Forget the self-promotion, though; Sophia's feed is full of wise words, replies to fans, AND quite a few tweets shining her spotlight social causes--like the violent crisis in Central Africa that has mostly gone invisible.
Invisible Children and Resolve have launched a tracker that now publicly highlights the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA)'s crimes and violence in Central Africa. Since December of 2009, there have been 1,723 abductions--9 this month alone! The tracker will almost instantly highlight new crimes and "bring an unprecedented level of transparency to the atrocities of the LRA."
