The GLAAD Awards rocked it Saturday night! Each year the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation spends time honoring those who make a difference in gay rights, and it’s an inspiring and star-studded event for all lucky enough to attend. Vinny Guadagnino from "Jersey Shore" was there presenting, and our favorite singing nobility Lady Gaga won “Outstanding Artist” for her "Born This Way" album. I mean, can you think of a more perfect album winning the award this year?
Vinny took to Twitter to let everyone know what he was up to:
Presenting at the @GLAAD awards tonight. Holler!

But it was also about getting the GLAAD Awards trending and seeing the bigger picture:
Listen up! Let's get #GLAADAWARDS trending on twitter to support LGBT rights!

Because it’s more than just a show, you know. It’s also about a movement.
And how about word from our Gaga, who has been so outspoken and dedicated to gay rights? This morning the Lady herself also went out into Twitter-world to talk about the GLAAD Awards and show how “glaad” she is that the organization is around:
I'm so proud to win 'Outstanding Artist' for Born This Way album at GLAAD Media Awards. Thank you so much to your organization.

Gaga returned to Twitter just a little while later to add these words:
Lets remind the world that the zeitgeist continues to beckon for equality+change. The relevancy of freedom, the ying yang of hatred+love
— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) March 26, 2012
Now that’s a born superstar!
