Ever want to give back to make the world a nicer place, but feel overwhelmed about what to do? Actress Kat Dennings knows one very simple and effective way to make a big difference.
Hey people: today is a good day to tell someone you love them.

Kat doesn’t say why this happens to be a good day to tell people you love them, probably because every day is a good day to tell people that. Doesn’t it make you feel better when someone gives you a really meaningful “I love you?” If you say it today to maybe your parents, other members of your fam or your friends, it might mean a whole lot. It’s also OK to say, “I love you” to yourself, and it might be especially helpful to hear it if you’ve been feeling low lately.
Does this whole “say a nice thing, do a good deed” theme sound familiar? At the beginning of the month, Selena Gomez spoke about something similar, suggesting that we go around telling people they’re awesome. Selena even posted vids online showing her following her own advice.
What’s the point of telling someone that you love them or they’re awesome? Well, besides the fact you do love them and they are awesome, it just might be something they need to hear. They might be having a tough time, and your words can help bring them out of it. Even if they’re not having a tough time, these are just words that are good to hear. It’s awesome to love someone, and it’s even awesomer to be loved right back!
