Demi often uses Twitter to spread messages of hope, self-acceptance and love, and these Tweets eventually evolved into her book, which is published by Macmillan. The book is designed kinda like a calendar, with positive words and messages for each day. For instance, on January 5 Demi has written, “There are so many beautiful, talented souls in this world. Don’t let anything stand in the way of your potential.”
She continues, “I’ve encountered so many people in my life who tell me that I can’t do something. Those people are just testing you and you can’t let them bring you down.” She goes on to talk about the importance of believing in yourself and how true friends will support you. She also gives you a goal for the day of January 5: “Think about one thing you’you’ve been holding back on doing and start doing it today.”
This looks like the perf book for fans of Demi and people who could use a little lift (or an extra oomph) in their day. Feeling down and low? Then this just might be the kind of literary medicine you need. Demi Lovato the singer, actress, philanthropist, businesswoman and MTV Act hero wants you to have good days all 365 days of the year. And if there’s someone who knows what it means to “stay strong,” it’s Demi!
