Hurricane Sandy did some major damage when it made landfall last October, but one former “Jersey Shore” cast member is doing all she can to help recovery efforts. Yesterday our girl Snooki took Mistie and Crystal to get their nails did in Jerze to thank them for donating to help Restore the Shore.

When Snooki cries, we all cry, right? Well, remember when Snooki cried during a helicopter tour of the damaged areas, including the beloved Seaside Heights? Since then, our girl has stayed busy promoting relief efforts in the wake of the storm.  In true GTL fashion, Snooki even held an event for hundreds of people at a tanning salon.  We love that just this week Snooks took the time to kick it with two fans as a sign of her gratitude for their donations. She even snapped a picture of the three of them to celebrate the day! Best pedicure ever or what?

We were on hand for the experience and talked to Snooki and the winners about restoring the shore as well as random stuff like our fave “Real Housewives” series (Snooki is a fan of Jersey, obvs.) and the upcoming Season 3 of “Snooki &  JWOWW.” Be on the lookout for an upcoming video of Snooki’s visit to the salon. It’s gonna be a gem!
