We love it when people speak out about their favorite causes, but it’s so much better when people step up and commit to fight for what the change they want to see. This Tuesday, some of Hollywood’s most talented young celebs took a stand against cancer at a historic event.
Selena Gomez, Lily Collins, Anna Kendrick, and Emma Roberts attended the 2014 Hollywood Stands Up to Cancer Event. The ladies weren’t the only buzzworthy stars in attendance, either. Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon hosted the event, while Drew Barrymore, Jessica Alba, and Anne Hathaway also stopped by to lend their support for the cause.

According to the organizations, the first project they will collaborate on will be a $20 million research “dream team” focused on fighting lung cancer. ACS and SU2C will each contribute $10 million to the team of researchers working to eradicate the leading cancer of men and women in the United States.
