With many still without power, heat or even running water, the recovery process is well under way in the Northeast after Hurricane Sandy. Even musicians like RihannaJustin Bieber, and Lady Gaga are stepping up and spearheading incredible acts of love!

RiRi may have taken over Victoria Secret’s Fashion Show Wednesday night, but she is about to win over the hearts of many victims of Hurricane Sandy by helping them cover up and keep warm. The listening party for her new album “Unapologetic“ will be a benefit for the New York area — to get in, attendees must donate an item at the door. During a live Facebook chat with Bravo’s Andy Cohen last night, she also pledged to make a $100,000 donation to the Food Bank of New York and to give 1,000 sleeping bags to the NY Daily News’ relief efforts.

New York native Lady Gaga has been expressing her love for her hometown via Twitter since the storm hit and has announced a $1,000,000 donation to the Red Cross’ relief efforts! It’s so easy to join her and help — I know how fast y’all can text. Text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Justin Bieber’s spirit of giving, especially around this time, is seriously major! Not sure if you know but every concert ticket sold during his current tour benefits Pencils Of Promise. For his shows in New York and New Jersey, tickets will benefit Sandy relief.

There is still so much work to be done, so head on over to help restore the shore or even learn how to help the precious animals that are in need!

Join MTV, the cast of “Jersey Shore,” and celebrity guests for a Hurricane Sandy relief fundraiser, “Restore The Shore,” on Thursday, November 15 on-air and online. You can start texting SHORE to 85944 now to make a $10 donation and help rebuild Seaside Heights.
