[Insert fun. pun, like "This post will be fun!" or "Ready to have some fun?" here] The guys of fun. are MTV's PUSH Artist of the Week! The quirky-pop-rock trio, whose "We Are Young (Featuring Janelle Monae)" currently sits atop the US iTunes singles chart and album Some Nights dropped yesterday, is having quite the week--but they're all about sharing the spotlight.
Today, they're sharing their PUSH spotlight with the cause they care about most: gay rights. "We definitely feel like not enough people are talking about it, definitely not enough straight people," guitarist Jack Antonoff expresses in the video. To further shine light on the issue, the band designed a t-shirt (pictured below) for Revel & Riot with all proceeds benefiting LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning) rights, awareness and equality.
And to get people talking about it even further, the band has teamed up with Revel & Riot to give away tickets to their upcoming tour launching on February 29.
