As part of the 1 is 2 Many campaign, the White House has released a PSA on sexual assault starring Hollywood men and top politicians. All of them are asking men to step up in the fight against sexual assault, specifically campus sexual assault.

Daniel Craig, Seth Meyers, Steve Carell, Benicio Del Toro and Dulé Hill are joined by Vice President Biden and President Obama for this uber important vid.

+ Watch 1 is 2 Many PSA

Actor and producer Benicio Del Toro lays it out, saying, “If she doesn’t consent, or if she can’t consent, it’s rape, it’s assault.”

Vice President Biden calls on people to do something about it if they ever witness or know about an assault.“If I saw it happening, I’d never blame her,” Daniel Craig says, references the victim-blaming that goes on far too often. “I’d help her.”

“I want to be a part of the solution,” Seth Meyers says.

The PSA concentrates on stopping sexual violence against women, because the majority of victims of sexual violence are women, and the majority of perpetrators are men. As it is now, one fifth of women are sexually assaulted in college and one in nine teenage girls are forced to have sex against their will. Alarming stats like that are why this PSA is needed. This however doesn’t mean that women can’t ever be perpetrators or that men can’t be victims. Any kind of assault is not okay.

“It’s up to all of us to bring an end to sexual assault,” President Obama says. “And that starts with you.”
