Between now and June 20th, drop off your old and well-worn clothing in recycling bins at any H&M store. It doesn’t matter what brand the clothes are or how much use you got out of them; they’ll all be accepted!

After you make your drop-off, H&M will send the fabric to a recycling facility. According to DoSomething.org, 85% of all textiles end up in landfills every year. That means we’re dumping the equivalent of 70 billion T-shirts!

If that’s still not enough incentive for you, check this out. Send a photo of yourself dropping off your clothing to DoSomething.org and you’ll be entered to win a $10,000 scholarship! H&M will also give you 15% off your next purchase at the store!

Wilde is no stranger to giving back, and she’s really excited to play a role in this new campaign because the “message is very much in line with the philosophy” behind her company, Conscious Commerce. The actress’ site “encourages young people to live an overall more conscious lifestyle and leave our world in a better state than how we found it.”

What are you waiting for? Grab those clothes you’re never going to wear and head to your nearest H&M store! For more ways to save the planet, check out the action links below.
