Talk about an Oprah moment! Today on The Ellen Show, audience members cried as Nicki Minaj surprised two young fans with her hugs and words of wisdom.
Dressed from head to toe in pink, the young girl fans rose to YouTube celeb status with their--hands down--cutest cover of Nicki Minaj "Superbass." The girls explained that it only took two days to pick up the words to the song. Huh?! When Ellen asked the girls what they they thought of Ms. Minaj they screamed, "We LOVE Nicki Minaj. We want to meet her sooo much." And so, they did.

The girls lost their minds as Ms. Minaj graced the stage to surprise them. But more than just hugs and laughing, Nicki stressed the importance of going to school. "I just want you to stay in school. Music is beautiful, but I want you to stay in school," Minaj told the girls. "Put your books first and music second."
This isn't the first time we've heard Nicki talk about the importance of school. After all, she was first noticed in 2000 as the winner of YoungArts- a place where artists come together in an education celebration of skill and potential. She's also serves as an Get Schooled celebrity education ambassador and provides her voice for the Get Schooled Celebrity Wake Up Call, which encourages kids to get out of bed and attend class!
