Khloé Kardashian Odom took to NYC in style this fashion week, but the reality star wasn't here for the shows -- she came to make change. We got a chance to sit down with the hilarious (and super-confident) Kardashian sister to talk about her family, her "haters," and her passion for doing good.
"I'm not looking to get a pat on my back [when I do charity work]," said Khloé . She does it because she cares. And so she teamed up with U by Kotex, to drive around in New York in a souped-up ride that will transport bloggers and editors from one catwalk to the next throughout fashion week. The car service is free for fashionistas but the coolest thing about these cars is their intent: To raise $100,000 for Girls For A Change, an organization promoting confidence in women around the country. So every time you take a ride between today and February 16th you'll be helping U by Kotex donate up to $100,000 to Girls for a Change. All you have to do is follow @UGetsReal for route info.

And Khloé, a victim of bullying in elementary school and in the press, knows a thing or two about the importance of being a confident woman. She told us, "I do not let [my sisters] go on blogs," because of the often vicious attacks in the comment sections. "For some reason, if you read 900 positive things about yourself and one negative, that one negative sticks with you." By ignoring the press, and knowing her self-worth, Khloe's been able to brush off haters and grow a community of Twitter followers over six million strong.
But she's not the only Kardashian with a heap of confidence and a do-gooder attitude. "Kim's in Haiti right now," she told us. "And my mom is heavily involved...in the rebuilding of a church." She's learned that charity shouldn't be about red carpets and camera crews, "charity is extending your hand to people in need," said Khloé.
So how can you get involved in her efforts? Watch my interview with Khloe below!
