The ‘Awkward’ Cast Recycles Old Clothes with DoSomething.org

2014 MTV Movie Awards - Arrivals
In April Jillian Rose Reed of “Awkwardtweeted about DoSomething.org’s Comeback Clothes campaign, and she’s still going strong with her support! The campaign lasts until June 20, and there are plenty of reasons for you to get involved.

A lot of people just throw out clothes, though the truth is you can recycle them. But if you’re not sure how to recycle them, this is the perfect opportunity. You just drop off your old clothes at the nearest H&M. (You can also do a clothes drive with your school or whatever to get more clothes.) Just make sure you take a pic when you’re dropping the clothes off and that you share it with DoSomething.org. Why? Welp, because you could win a $10,000 scholarship for this!

Jillian is really in on all this recycling, and she’s also in on taking pics. Take a look at this Instagram photo of Jillian cleaning out her closet. She’s getting the job done!

And Jillian even shared a vid with some exciting news . . . she and the cast of “Awkward” having been running a Comeback Clothes drive right on set! Yup, in the midst of making some “Awkward” magic happen, they’re fitting in some good old fashion charity.

Do you have any clothes you don’t want anymore? Wanna get in the running for a big scholarship? Then take a look at all the rules of the campaign and see what kind of good you can do!
