Days after Jay-Z and Kanye West dropped their critically-acclaimed album Watch The Throne on Monday (August 8), the hip-hop power duo world premiered the music video for “Otis”–the LP’s first–on MTV tonight. The new clip featured Jay and ‘Ye among fireballs and fireworks, but mostly, it featured a Maybach. That same luxury car featured in the video is up for grabs in an auction, as announced during the premiere, to benefit ongoing efforts to feed starving children and families in the Horn of Africa.

USAID estimates over 30,000 deaths have been reported in the region; more than 12 million people are still in need of emergency assistance to survive. The area is in dire need of our help, and while bidding on the “Otis” car may not fit your budget (average sticker price of $280,000!), you can bet we’ve got a few easy ways you can join Jay-Z and Kanye West, as well as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Coldplay, Britney Spears, and other music icons, in supporting¬†our friends in Africa. More details on the auction are forthcoming, but in the meantime…
