Has anyone ever promised you their undying love? If the answer is no, then you’re wrong. The girls of Everyone Is Gay promise you that and more with just a little bit of your help.
Kristin Russo and Dannielle Owens-Reid are the creators of Everyone Is Gay, an advice website for all, with an emphasis on LGBTQ youth. For the past year, they have been using humor, personal experiences and straight up honesty to talk to people about their problems. From kids who are in love with their best friends to fathers who don’t know how to deal with their child being gay, the website has helped thousands of people across the world.
Just recently, the girls embarked on a school tour of college campus’s and high schools advocating anti-bullying, volunteerism and the importance of being informed about what’s going on in the world.
Not only did the girls get to meet their supporters and help people face to face, but they learned that there's a BIG need for their work. So as a result, they quit their jobs and are now working full time for Everyone Is Gay.
In order to stay “afloat,” the girls are asking for everyone’s help with funding their business and, in return, they are promising some of the most outrageous things. From giving you a personalized wake up call to creating the “Gayest Compliation Ever Made!” featuring personalized song about Everyone Is Gay from indie rock artists such as Lelia Broussard, who was a finalist in a recent Rolling Stone contest, Jenny Owen Youngs, Greg Laswell, Lightyear, Bess Rogers and more.
