Lupita Nyong’o Gets New Movie Role
Lupita Nyong’o has been tapped for the movie “Americanah,” which will follow the lives of Nigerian immigrants. Lupita is already in love with the original book, written by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. “Page after page I was struck by Ifemelu and Obinze’s stories, whose experiences as African immigrants are so specific and also so imminently relatable,” the actress said. Coincidentally, it’s Adichie’s voice you hear talking about feminism in Beyoncé’s “Flawless.”
