Fact: 1 in 3 people who are homeless in the U.S. is under the age of 18. Also a fact: Demi Lovato and Cody Simpson want your jeans.
As MTV Style reported, Demi Lovato premiered a PSA yesterday to encourage teens nationwide to donate their old pair of jeans to homeless youth. Anti-bullying advocate and "iYiYi" singer Cody Simpson is getting involved, too. DoSomething.org's Teens For Jeans campaign is only days away from officially kicking off on January 16, but there's already much you can do to get involved. Tonight (as he tweeted yesterday), Cody Simpson will help launch the campaign in Los Angeles alongside Kristen Bell:
Be sure to RSVP to Cody's event if you're in the area. If not, heck, throw your own kickoff party! You can now register your school, request a promotional banners, and download flyers to promote your jeans drive. The school who collects the most jeans wins: $5,000, a pair of new Aeropostale jeans FOR EVERY STUDENT, and their own school-wide party! To get started, take action below.
