At last year's VMAs, Lady Gaga slapped some rib eye on her ribs, brisket on her boobs and a nice marbled sirloin on her hairpiece, creating a meaty ensemble that earned some closet space at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now, a year later, with one latex egg crack and a few platform shoe crashes under her snakeskin belt, the Lady is set to grace the Video Music Awards stage again. Wanna be there to see for yourself what wardrobe shenanigans she's up to now?
Two tickets to the show in Los Angeles (Aug. 28) are on the auction block for a CharityBuzz fundraiser benefiting Phoenix House addiction treatment facility, so one lucky winner (+1) will get to check out the song and dance (and fashion) up close. All the more reason to love CharityBuzz, the online auction service that helps nonprofits raise money by putting luxury items and glamorous experiences on the block.
Other items set to help Phoenix House include a night out on Broadway to see the new Spiderman musical, a Nickelodeon Studios tour in Burbank, California, or a meet-and-greet concert experience on the "American Idol" tour. Feel like splurging on some travel instead? There are packages ready to whisk bidders off to Las Vegas, Nevada, Italy, Brazil, Cambodia and Miami, Florida--although, interestingly enough, the VMA tix are already putting the vacation items to shame. Who needs Tuscany when you've got Beyoncé, I always say!
Since 1967, Phoenix House has been helping people break the cycle of addiction and live full, drug-free lives. Read about how treatment changed 21-year old Naveed Etemadipour's life to get a feel for how powerful recovery can be--and, of course, set your TiVos for Aug. 28 to see how shocking pop's finest can be.
