The body roll. The single lady. The shopping cart. And that was just in 30 minutes.
I just stopped by the Online Music Awards Dance Marathon at Roxy night club on LA’s Sunset Strip at Hour 14 and I can safely say that these 13 die-hard dancers were still steppin’ it up like champs.

There’s no denying the double-edged cyber sword of the Internet.
Last night, the latest MTV original movie DISconnected, based on real-life victims of cyber bullying premiered on your TV screen, but it’s the two-faced nature of 24/7 online interactions on our comps and cellies that the film tackled. It’s a modern-day fable of Drama 2.0 and the #SMH, and even #FML, consequences that come with being over-connected and overwhelmed.

Last night’s dramatic conclusion of (DIS)CONNECTED left us stunned. Inspired by the true story of Abraham Biggs, the movie brought home what can happen when we forget there’s someone real on the other side of the computer screen. While this story is tragic, we can keep our digital community drama-free if we work together and respect each other’s rights.
