So you've got a bone to pick with the government -- an issue needs fixing, a problem needs addressing. Advocates advise: Contact Congress! We here at Act have advised the same ... yet when push came to shove, even we have often stopped short of making sure our good intentions are signed, sealed, delivered, en route to DC. A new mobile app, however, promises to make democratic participation easier than Angry Birds.

We aren't going to ask you to stop wexting (walking + texting) just yet (though please, clear the sidewalks and watch your step), but if you haven't nipped that texting-while-driving habit in the bud by now (and really, if you haven't, you're already behind the times), the National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) has monetary prizes (thanks for The Allstate Foundation) as motivation to join its crusade.

Oh my, this is (high pitched) awwwwwkward! After Rick Perry's unfortunate series of boo-boo's (case in point ... aaaaand another ... ), the Republican candidate for President of the United States has found himself the star of several new mobile apps, including, but not limited to, "Oops: What's that third agency again?" You're on a date ... with someone whose behavior is getting out of hand. Aggressive. Inappropriate. You want out. What you wouldn't give to send a smoke signal to your very best friends, to have them call riiiiiight this minute, rescue you, give you an out. A new mobile app will let you do it — and more. There's safety in numbers with Circle of 6.

In one year from today (OK, technically 364 days), you'll be casting your vote for the next President of the United States. You want to make the right choice. After all, our country's gonna be married to the person, in a way — for 4 years, at least. (That's 20 times longer than Hollywood's new standard, mind you.) So how to pick your political soul mate? VoteEasy.
