With just days to go before the Presidential election, attention has shifted from the he-said-he-said final rounds of campaign frenzy to the highly focused storm relief efforts across the East Coast. We're focusing on the needs of the people. We're less consumed with the nit-pick.

There’s been a lot of talk recently about 37 year old Marissa Mayer, the newly appointed Yahoo! CEO and president. With only 22% of women in science and tech related fields, many feel like Mayer along with other women in tech will pave the way for a new generation of girls in the field. So it seems 'bout right that Hillary Clinton launched TechGirls, an exchange program designed to empower young girls to pursue careers in science and tech.

You gotta love all the stuff you can do with your phone these days (Ordering food and movie tixs! Finding parking spots! Using your phone as a flashlight! Draw Something!), but sending naked pictures of yourself might not be the best use of technology. A recent study from the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine says that sexting has gone up with young people, though the people taking part might not realize all the unpleasant consequences that could happen.

Forget Instagram, y’all. (Sorry, Zuckerberg.) After the mind-blowing rapper resurrection at Coachella on Sunday night, it’s all about Hologram! Tupac’s thug life likeness was beamed onto main stage in a “Hail Mary” 2.0 performance that had festival goers flippin’ their fanny packs and my Facebook feed blowin’ up with various vids of America’s most wanted gangsta ghost.

Is it game over for Ron Paul in the Republican Presidential primary? Who knows with all the GOP dramz, but Daniel Williams -- a 27-year-old self-proclaimed “college stopout" (take that, Kanye!) and “Ron Pauler” from Houston-- sure believes his candidate has plenty of lives left. That’s why he’s creating a video game called “Ron Paul: The Road to REVOLution” starring the former Texas Congressman as a Mario-like warrior on a mission to take his libertarian platform to the next level -- like 50+ levels!

Breaking up sucks. Bella Acton is trying to make it suck less with her new website, Never Liked It Anyway. Think of it as kind of an eBay to get rid of the stuff your ex gave you . . . but also a place to find support from people dealing with the same things. You can sell that ring you got from your ex, you can buy something neat another person is trying to get rid of, and you can share your story with a sympathetic group. Now that’s some unique therapy (plus you can earn money!). We wanted to learn more about this new site, so we hooked up with site creator Bella Acton for the deets.

Mitt Romney and Etch-a-Sketch-gate. Barack Obama singing “Sexy and I Know It.” Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich runnin’ their mouths like rappers. The three-ring media circus that passes for American politics these days makes it hella hard to separate the fluff from the stuff we really need to know -- like, I dunno, what the heck all the gibberish comin’ from the podium actually means when it hits OUR wallets.

We already gave y'all the deets on Adrian Grenier's campaign to get more than 50,000 high school kids talking -- remember that real-live face-to-face stuff? -- about what it's like to grow up in a 24/7 plugged-in, media manic world with his Teenage Paparazzo Empowerment Tour, but in case you were busy texting/tweeting/posting/pinning/checking in (oh the irony!), here's some YouTubery starring the eloquent "Entourage" actor to break it down for you one more time:
