Earlier this month members of the “Awkward.” cast visited a senior center to take part in DoSomething.org and Intel’s Grandparents Gone Wired campaign. Only about half of senior citizens use the Internet, and this can keep them from free communication with family members, countless resources, and us. Ahh! Not good. Or maybe they posted a message to your wall and meant for it to be a private message... Awkward.

2,000 young people representing over 126 nations have joined forces with the United Nations and a number of entertainment, non-profit and other industry leaders to debut the mPowering Mobile Platform -- an app aimed at inspiring youth around the world to better their lives and the lives of others. Timbaland, Avicii, and Agnes Monica were on site at yesterday’s unofficial launch.
