Taylor Swift cleaned up at last night’s Billboard Music Awards, where she nabbed eight of the 11 awards for which she was nominated. When she took to the stage to accept the award for Artist of the Year, Swift took a moment to thank the people who had been there all along: her fans.

30 Seconds to Mars has one of the most dedicated fan armies on the planet. The fans, who call themselves the Echelon, have planted trees in Haiti, funded a well to provide clean drinking water to those in need, and built houses in the band’s name. To show his phans (fans + philanthropists) his gratitude, Jared Leto gave them a free concert in Union Square!

Prince Harry might be best known as Will’s little brother, but the young royal is now making a name for himself as an advocate for injured soldiers thanks to his recent trip around the United States.
