Jennifer Lawrence took home the Screen Actors Guild award last night for Lead Female Actor in a Leading Role for her portrayal as Tiffany in “Silver Linings Playbook.” Viewers at home learned two very important things from her acceptance speech: the first, that MTV gave Lawrence the role that landed her a SAG card -- a funny "Sweet 16" promo; the second, that the director of “Silver Linings Playbook” took on the project so his 18-year-old son wouldn’t feel so alone.

Although the Sundance Film Festival may be over, I still can't stop thinking about all the eclectic fashion I saw. The festival is tucked away up in the snowy mountains of Utah, thus, I saw tons of scarves, coats, and fashionable coats -- on top of the amaz films that debuted, OBVI.

The Sundance Film Festival is winding down, and what better way to end my trip by covering the "A.C.O.D" premiere -- one of my fave nights of the entire festival! Journalists prepped in a frenzy, publicists ran around, and the energy in the room as we waited for the phenomenal cast (Jessica Alba! Amy Poehler! Jane Lynch! Adam Scott!) was immense. And I was in the middle of it.

For months, the buzz around "Lovelace" has been making headlines coast-to-coast, but at last -- it finally premiered this week to a packed audience at the Sundance Film Festival! Luckily I was able to catch a screening of the lovely film, and it did NOT disappoint.

Dakota Fanning WERKED the Sundance Film Festival red carpet for her film "Very Good Girls" -- as she headed down the press line, my eyes were glued to her stunning look from Louis Vuitton's pre-fall 2013 collection. I did, however, manage to compose myself and chat with her about the project, her younger sister Elle Fanning, and Hollywood's pressure on girls to be perfect.

The Sundance Film Festival is well underway in the snowy mountains of Park City, Utah, filled with an enormous amount of fun, fierce, and fascinating films that always make me fall in love with filmmaking all over again. "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete" was one of those films that truly blew me away. Future tip: bring tissues.

The 2013 Oscar nominations are out, and MTV is doing a little happy dance. The MTV film “Inocente” has been nominated for Best Documentary Short! “Inocente” is an eye-opening film about an artistic homeless teenage girl who defies stereotypes and turns her life around.

Not one, but two of my baby-daddies have movies coming out this Friday! Rapper Bow Wow stars in the military film “Allegiance,” and R&B hunk Trey Songz joins the ill-fated cast of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.” Both musicians make bold statements with their new movie roles -- Bow for the U.S. military, and Trey for Black actors everywhere.
