Con Quién Andas. It means, in Spanish, "with whom you walk." As you know, the company we keep -- or the people with whom we walk -- can completely shape a person's high school experience. One NYU student is bringing a day in the life of this complicated, identity-shaping time to the screen ... with a little Kickstart from his friends ... and you.

Rihanna: villian or hero? Well... The Bajan "Where Have You Been?" pop princess was rumored to be steaming up the big screen, driving super sexy cars with Vin Diesel as a villain in the upcoming “Fast and the Furious 6.” She will, however, visit movie theaters near you this month in "Battleship" as a bad-ass FBI espionage. But off screen, it appears she's quite the hero.

Picking your fav crush in a crazy popular young adult series might seem harmless -- but according to some heated "Hunger Games" fans, the #team trend that the media has been hyping up around the District 12 “love triangle” is totally distracting from the real star: Katniss, the bow-wielding badass who faces down a violent post-apocalyptic world where survival certainly comes before sexytime. Plus these aggro tributes (that’s the official name of "HG" fans apparently) REALLY don’t wanna be associated with that rival fantasy franchise featuring a certain jorts-wearing werewolf and sparkly vamp fighting over a clumsy high schooler. Twihardly!

This Friday the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (that’s “The Avengers” for ya, if you’re not a big comic book fan) will be hitting theaters and the Marvel movie is posed to be a mega blockbuster. While most of us haven’t seen the film yet, on Saturday it screened as the final film at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man, dedicated the screening to real heroes, not fictional ones.

What I’m about to say will tick off about 70% of Hunger Games fandom judging by recent polls in People, Entertainment Weekly, E! and right here on MTV Act. But I’m feeling empowered to let it out, so here goes: I’m Team Gale. There. I said it. I was never a big fan of District 12’s baker boywonder (boooooooring) in the books  and I definitely wasn’t stoked about Josh Hutcherson playing the big-hearted blondie. In short, I was a Hutch hater.

Unless you've been living in, I dunno Siberia, you've prolly heard about the documentary, "Bully." The film follows the story of five bullied students -- its blatant honesty and closeness really make it a compelling film. I'll admit it too: I cried more than Snooki at an international pickle festival. "Bully" exposes a lot of less discussed issues around bullying -- parents and teachers living in denial about their students being bullied, and that students are often afraid nothing will change even if they do speak up.

What’s better than Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Hulk, and a team of secret world-saving agents all in one movie? Can’t think of anything? Me neither. The world premiere of Marvel’s latest big screen comic book adaptation, “The Avengers,” lit up Hollywood Boulevard earlier this week and the stars rocked the red carpet like no one’s business. Sure, there was a ton of eye candy. But the excitement and anticipation for the movie totally outweighed that. That is, until Scarlett Johansson showed up, obvs.

The Hunger Games trilogy covers A LOT of heavy ground -- war, poverty, government suppression, violence in the media, not to mention Team Peeta vs. Team Gale -- and the recently released first film installment doesn’t shy away from confronting these uncomfy topics either. One issue that author Suzanne Collins doesn’t overtly tackle is racism -- but a recent Twitter trend has added it to the long list of heated HG convos.

Lots of people doodle on their hands, but when they write “Love Is Louder,” they’re becoming part of a movement. Writing “Love Is Louder” shows a commitment to helping others and helping ourselves from bullies, loneliness, depression and all sorts of nasty stuff. Sami Gayle, star of “Detachment,” is showing off her palm and her message in the photo below.
