Celebrating The #WHchamps: Get To Know The Winners & How To Get Involved

Young people from all over the country gathered at the nation's capital on Thursday (March 15) for the Campus Champions of Change event at the White House. All 15 finalists were selected by a special White House committee AND invited by the President of the United States himself to well, come to his house! After a public vote, the top 5 vote-getters earned a seat alongside President Barack Obama during the event, in addition to an appearance on mtvU's The Dean List and this here feature on MTV Act!

Back in November, we told you about Campus Champions of Change, curious to see what ideas y'all might come up with. Those ideas? Whoa. Don't get us wrong — we've always had faith in young ambition — but we're pretty floored by the submissions. With a record high number of applicants, judges whittled the list down to 15 finalists with crazy-innovative ideas for sparking school-wide social change. Now it's up to the rest of us to send a handful of winners straight to the White House. Are you up for the challenge?
