Nas put his devotion for his daughter Destiny in his raw, emotional song “Daughters,” and this Friday he’s also making the day for other people’s daughters in Queens, New York with the 8th Annual Bratz Doll Drive. The drive, which is being put together by Saving Our Daughters, honors Iliss Benjamin, the daughter of SOD founder Curtis Benjamin, who lost her battle to cancer.

2012 has no doubt been the year of One Direction (so glad we agree) capturing the hearts of Directioners worldwide and causing hysteria wherever these hunks set foot. Recently Liam Payne (I DIE) was photographed with his GF Danielle Peazer in NYC where he and his fellow bandmates played a gig, okay not JUST a gig, but Madison Square Garden. For everyone who wants to say “boo” to bullying and “yay” to acceptance, last night’s Trevor Live was the place to be. The fundraiser was happening to help the Trevor Project, which offers crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth, and Katy Perry attended the epic night.
