Yesterday was pretty mega with the first ever International Day of the Girl and National Coming Out Day. It also happened to be Michelle Trachtenberg’s birthday, and she’s happy to share the day with other sweet stuff that’s going on.

For many, "coming out" can be quite the dreadful thought but when ready, it's a bold and courageous act. It's also one step closer to something we all struggle with -- being ourselves. Phew! THEY DID IT! Making sense of what you feel and coming to define your sexuality can take time, but as we saw on the second "It Gets Better" special tonight on MTV and Logo, it does get better. Hunter, Natalie and Vecente's confidence, pride, and support system grew after overcoming various hurdles -- and it was their bravery and courage that got them through it.

It all started with a YouTube video on September 21, 2010 -- Dan Savage and his partner, Terry, shared their thoughts with bullied youth with a simple message: it gets better. Videos from Barack Obama to Lady Gaga followed, as did an hour-long MTV special this February that earned an Emmy nomination. Tonight at 11/10c on MTV and Logo, an all new "It Gets Better" special follows Hunter, Natalie, and Vecente as they each take steps forward in their coming out process.

In the past she’s talked about her struggles with eating disorders, but she recently received media backlash due to her weight gain so Gaga is talking seriously about body self-acceptance.
