Do you like baseball? Do you like video games? And, hey, do you like giving money to charities you believe in? Actually, let me reword that: do you like winning $18,000 to give to a charity you believe in?
Okay, now that I’ve got your attention, let’s go to Brittany Snow and John Legend for the deets! State Farm has put together a nifty online game called “Go to Bat for Charity” where you play baseball for a cause. This might get addicting fast, but that’s okay, because the higher you score, the more likely it is that you'll win the $18,000. Brittany and John are encouraging you to play, but each one is hoping for a different charity.
You see, if you win, the moolah doesn’t automatically go to a certain charity. You have choices you can pick from. Aside from Habitat for Humanity (Brittany’s choice) and Teach For America (John’s choice), you could also pick the American Red Cross or the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Hmm, it might be difficult to pick just one. Are you going to be playing for Brittany or John...or one of the other orgs?
Oh, there’s one more thing I should add. If you win, not only will you donate a lot of money to one of these fine organizations, but you’ll also win a trip to a 2012 Major League Baseball World Series. Alrighty then, who’s ready to play some ball?
