Is Beyoncé a feminist? No need to debate that shiz any longer. Currently on a tour stop in New Orleans, Queen Bey took some time to visit the National World War II Museum and snapped this picture. The “We Can Do It” photo (more formally known as “Rosie the Riveter”) is an iconic symbol of women’s support for the war efforts, as well as changing gender norms during the 1940s and ’50s. It became super-popular in the 1980s, as more women entered the workforce than ever before.
But if there is any woman who can put a modern spin on this old-school meme, it is Beyoncé. After all, who run the world?
