Coupla things: 1.) Beyonce is DEFINITELY preggers and 2.) If Baby-once is anything like his/her mama, s(he)'ll be one kiiiind kiddo. I was at her "Live At Roseland" DVD screening last night in NYC, and here's a little sneak peek...
Both produced and directed by Bey herself, the "Live At Roseland" DVD (out on 11/29) opens with the one-time single lady in a dark hotel room, laying under the sheets until Hov (!!!) shows up to start the party. In front of a packed crowd at her string of NYC shows, the singer recounts her entire career, right up until her latest album 4, and then proceeds to slay every...single...song on the album.
At two different points in the glitzy doc-style flick, the reigning Queen of diva-dom shows her softer side with backstage footage of her charity work over the years. One handicapped youngin' croons "to the left, to the left" while Beyonce provides hugs and support to the little fan. And then later, when B belts out "I Was Here", the movie cuts to clips of the singer spending time with young cancer patients, illustrating her desire to make a difference when she's not, y'know, running the world.
Just before last night's exclusive screening at the chic Paris Theater on Fifth Avenue, Bey showed up (in all her pregnant glory) to chat with the crowd, calling the dvd a holiday gift to her fans. But let's be real, B: You're the gift that keeps on giving.
