When we caught up with some of our favorite stars on the 2014 MTV Movie Awards red carpet, we had one burning question we wanted to ask. With “Faking It” premiering on April 22 (TONIGHT!), we wanted to know what the stars have had to fake in life.

+ See What The Stars Have Faked.

Some of the celebs took a light-hearted approach when answering the question. Amber Stevens revealed that her friends think she fakes her laugh, while Backstreet Boy A.J. Mclean shared how much he hates going on shows where they can’t sing live.  Nev Schulman admitted he’s not crazy about his tramp stamp, or “champ stamp” in his words, so he pretends it’s not there!

Katie Stevens, one of the stars of “Faking It,” gave a fun answer when she revealed she fakes her hair color. Dave Franco and Victoria Justice also gave candid answers when they divulged that they weren’t comfortable walking red carpets!

Bella Thorne, on the other hand, let us know that she’s “really not good at faking things.” If she’s really annoyed, “everybody knows.” Chrissy Teigen doesn’t mind faking it, which is good since she has to do it every day. She often has to say, “Oh, it’s so good to see you again,” even though she doesn’t know who the person is.

Ellie Goulding and Shailene Woodley share that they sometimes had to fake their way through school. Goulding admitted that she faked sick several times, and Woodley recalls bluffing her way through a test when she didn’t know the material. She remembers writing “big words” and praying “that the meaning makes sense.”
