Insults (and Tweets) have been flying, and when MTV News caught up with The Wanted’s Max George at KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles, he had a few choice words for 1D. “If you got an actual problem, come see us in New York,” he said. Whoa there, boys! Let’s keep those faces lookin’ pretty and duke it out charity style instead. One Direction has edged them out once before in one of our Act-Offs... *rings bell* Guess it's time for round two!
+ 1D = 1Diplomats
Even though they’re from across the pond, One Direction is all for helping Americans in need. From raffling concert tickets to help rebuild the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy to asking their fans to donate to the Food Bank for New York City, the ‘D’ in 1D may as well stand for diplomacy.
+ The Wanted Love Helping Children & Animals
The Wanted may not love One Direction, but they do love animals! Early this year, they urged fans to adopt a pup from The Manchester & Cheshire Dogs' Home. More recently, they asked fans to give their support to a young girl with a brain tumor and The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice where she is staying.
We don’t wanna see either boy band in a hospice any time soon, so here’s to hoping this is just a war of words! Join the peaceful fight by taking action below to support your favorite band’s favorite cause.
Take action for your faves soon -- this Act-Off! ends Wednesday, December 12 at 11:59pm ET!
